Miniature Tooling. At ProTech Engineering, we specialize in detailed, miniature tooling.
Insert Molding. We have years of experience designing and building tooling specifically for molding an insert in place—from single cavity, hand loaded insert molding to multi-cavity insert molds with multiple “b-sides”.
Prototype Tooling. Our early involvement in a project provides valuable insight on issues such as part design for mold ability, gating, ejection and other mold features that must be proven prior to releasing a tool for production. The knowledge we acquire during the prototype phase can be applied to the design and build of permanent tooling—saving you time and money.
Multi-Cavity, High-Volume Production Tooling. Our precision tooling allows for interchangeability of cavities and components-ensuring that spare components can be built or changed while the tool is still in production.
Short-Run, Medium Volume Tooling. Our experience allows us to design and build these pre-hardened or hard tool steel molds to your requirements— efficiently and economically.
Silicone Injection and Transfer Molds. These molds can be the most demanding tools to produce because silicone “runs like water” through a tool. Our attention to detail and proven ability to match the steel result in a high quality mold.
